Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is proud to be among the 15 nominees in Newsweek’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Zoo. As the only combined zoo and aquarium in the Pacific Northwest, we’ve been a beloved Tacoma landmark since 1905. Our purpose is to inspire conservation through exceptional animal care, education, and research, and your vote can help us share that mission with the world.
