Have you herd? Seven adorable baby goat kids are now here at the Zoo! 🐐 Come by Kids’ Zone and meet the playful new kids. The 7-week-old Nigerian dwarf goat kids are viewable to guests but not for touching or feeding yet. We are giving these cuties plenty of time to get settled in and acquainted with their new home and keepers. The growing kids are being bottle-fed twice a day and closely monitored until they grow a little bigger to mingle with our current goat herd. Don’t miss a bleat; more adorable photos and videos are coming soon!

🦦 Sea otter party! 🎉 Our three rescued sea otters celebrated Libby’s 13th birthday with a seafood paste cake topped with capelin candles, icy fish treats, and an ice-filled piñata! 🐟🪅🎂

Kali was born at the Zoo on April 17, 2013. Because she was hand-raised, she’s very interactive with her keepers. Kali loves attention and will sometimes whine when she thinks she’s not getting enough of it, keepers say! She’s pretty laid back most of the time but will protect what’s important to her – like her dinner.

🐸 The five-month-old tiny Solomon Island leaf froglets hatched at the Zoo are doing well and are now hunting crickets. These frogs are one of the few frogs with no tadpole stage. The froglet’s current size is now larger than a skittle! 💚
