A Night at the Zoo
Your group can join us for a special overnight experience!
During this exclusive Zoo Snooze experience your group will explore the Pacific Seas Aquarium galleries, take an outdoor nighttime tour of our Rocky Shores habitat and sleep in the underwater world of the Northwest Waters gallery (on the dry side of course!). Morning activities include a continental breakfast, a visit to the Kids’ Zone to meet our friendly goat herd, and a private encounter with one of the Asian Forest Sanctuary animals. 2026 Snoozes are sold out. Zoo Snoozes will take place Friday nights from January through May, and September through mid-November. There are no Zoo Snoozes during Summer Camps or Zoolights.
An Unforgettable Experience
In the Pacific Seas Aquarium, you will sleep in the dusky glow of the Northwest Waters as rockfish, sturgeon, lingcod and a variety of colorful fish swim peacefully by.
Evening activities include a nighttime tour to explore some of our outdoor habitats, including Rocky Shores and Red Wolf Woods.
Morning activities include a continental breakfast and time to visit more animals before experiencing a private encounter with one of the Asian Forest Sanctuary animals.
2027 Snooze Information
Time: 7:00 pm Friday – 9:30 am Saturday
Ages: 5 +
Chaperones: 1 Adult Chaperone per 7 Youth Participants is required.
Fees: Minimum: $1,520 plus tax – covers up to 14 Youth Participants with 2 Adult Chaperones. Each additional person (Adult or Youth): $95 plus tax. Prices include admission to the Zoo on the Saturday immediately following your Snooze.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking to reserve your date and will be applied toward your total cost. A signed contract will be due shortly after booking your date. Final numbers and the remainder of your balance will be due no later than 30 days before the program date.
Size: Maximum 40 total people (includes Youth Participants and Adult Chaperones).
Food: Dinner is NOT provided on Friday evening. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in sealable containers. Continental breakfast is included on Saturday morning.
Registration Process
- Due to the popularity of Zoo Snoozes, each group must submit an online request form.
- Submitting a request form does not guarantee that your group will be selected to participate in a Snooze program. Groups will be selected using a lottery system.
- Online request forms will be available here for submission August 1-31, 2026.
- We will begin contacting groups regarding their 2027 status in early October 2026.
- Only one submission per group is required. (Multiple submissions for the same group will not improve chances of selection.)
- Request forms must be submitted annually, they do not roll over into future years.
