DreamNight is an evening event at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium for all individuals with disabilities and their families. This free event will include viewing animals in their habitats, meeting animal ambassadors during special Close Encounters, and interacting with our staff and volunteers around the zoo!

 Yes, we’ll have a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs and scooters available for adults.   

We will have a sensory friendly entry option and a designated quiet space for your child and your family during this event. The quiet space will be located in the Education Center building, located behind the Gift Shop. Please ask a staff member for directions when you arrive.

Yes, we will have a designated area where you can go for adult changing needs. Please ask a staff member for directions when you arrive.    

The Plaza Café will be open and have food for purchase. You also may bring your own food into the zoo. There are covered picnic tables in the Picnic Pavilion and benches throughout the zoo.

Yes, our Plaza Gift Shop will be open.
