Find solutions, make friends.
Join us for an exciting day filled with inspiring speakers and opportunities to meet others who care about protecting our ocean. Get involved in community science and learn about conservation careers. Create your own ocean conservation project and apply for funding to plan and execute it.
Speakers and workshops
to inspire your own ocean project.
Experts will lead workshops on a variety of topics including community science, career development, and marine science. Special experiences will include touching sea urchins and other marine animals in our Tidal Touch Zone, meeting an animal ambassador and chatting with keepers.

The Youth Ocean Conservation Summit is hosted and organized by youth volunteers from Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
