Guest Testimonials

Would you recommend this experience to friends and family?

“Yes, I would highly recommend this experience – the value is amazing, you get a private tour and then get to check out the zoo on your own afterwards. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, she even knew the name of every single animal (including a lot of birds) I was so impressed with her, and we learned a lot. Getting up close to the animals and not fighting through a crowd was invaluable.”

Can this experience be sensory friendly?

“It was a very peaceful morning, we were able to see all the animals without being surrounded by large crowds.”

What can l see and learn about?

“The guide taught me so much!!! It was everything I had hoped for — a chance to see the animals before the bustle of opening, an opportunity to glimpse their breakfast routines (we got to observe part of the sea otters’ training sessions!), and so many of my questions answered as soon as I could think of them. I learned about so much, and our guide had physical items that let us learn even more — like a little bit of sea otter pelt, to show just how DENSE their fur is!! It was so cool. Loved my guide, cannot recommend this whole experience enough. I was so thrilled to learn about the Red Wolf conservation efforts, too. Our guide was just phenomenal, she knew so much and helped us to see the animals we were really interested in and taught us so much about them, it was truly amazing.”
