Calling all youth
Find solutions, make friends.
Our ocean is in danger – from plastic, pollution, overfishing and climate change. But thanks to a partnership between Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and Seattle Aquarium, local youth can learn and be inspired to help protect it.

to inspire your own ocean project.
Hears a keynote speaker, talks from youth who have led their own conservation projects. Learn volunteer coordination, community outreach, grant writing and advocacy, and make your own ocean action plan. Read one teen's story here.

Open to all youth
grades 7-12
Open to all youth grades 7-12. Cost is $10, but need-based scholarships are available. Please contact volunteer@pdza.org to request a scholarship. Lunch and materials provided. Registration closes 1pm Feb. 7.
