Snacks for Species

Saving Species

by eating meals!

Snacks for Species is a series of fundraisers created by the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium’s senior guide youth volunteers – high school-age volunteers selected for their experience, knowledge, and abilities.

Throughout the year, the senior guides highlight an animal or conservation issue at local restaurants. Simply show up on the event date, learn about conservation, and order something to eat! A portion of your food sales will be donated directly to The Zoo Society’s Dr. Holly Reed Conservation Fund.

With your help, the Snacks for Species program has raised over $3,400 for the Conservation Fund since 2015. Help make this year a success as well!
