Our zookeepers are dedicated to conservation even outside of their jobs at the Zoo The Point Defiance chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) is a group of Point Defiance Zoo staff and volunteers who raise money for conservation and professional development in their free time.
Join them for a conservation social event — from Wild for Wolves to Sippin’ for Salmon. Each event venue donates a portion of the evening’s proceeds to the identified endangered species. These conservation social events have raised over $25,000 since 2011, with all funds donated directly to conservation efforts!
