Be zoo-dazzled by NEW light displays
See a polar bear family frolic on an ice floe. Revel in Mount Rainier’s glorious majesty. Roar at a 17-foot tall tiger head. Watch an eagle swoop down to catch a swimming salmon. All in 3-D.
Rediscover old favorites
Experience a magical world of over half-a-million lights, including a 100-foot octopus lounging atop the aquarium, reindeer romping on a hillside or a whimsical sleigh pulled by a porpoise, tiger and llama.
See Santa swim with sharks

See visitors dive with sharks – or experience it yourself!
You and other visitors can dive with 17 massive sharks, including a 9-foot long, 450-pound lemon shark. It’s all part of the Zoo’s brand new Eye-to-Eye Shark Dive program. Reservations are required.
Touch sleek stingrays at Stingray Cove
Learn about – and touch – stingrays as they glide by in our new interactive exhibit at Stingray Cove. (The stingrays’ barbs are clipped, so they can’t sting as you feel their velvety smooth surfaces.)
Explore a mysterious underwater world
Stroll through our two aquariums and be mesmerized by glowing jellies, a giant Pacific octopus, seahorses, rays and thousands of other sea creatures.
Ride a camel, feed a goat and meet a meerkat
Feed goats, marvel at a mob of meerkats or ride through a lighted desert oasis on a camel. Other zoo animals will be asleep off exhibit.
Take a spin on the holiday carousel
The beautiful Paul Titus Antique Carousel is open nightly during Zoolights. Take a ride for only $1.
