What does Zoobilee benefit?
Proceeds from Zoobilee directly support the education and conservation efforts of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA).

What time does Zoobilee start?
Zoobilee will begin at 6:00pm with a grand selection of appetizers and a robust silent auction as guests mingle are provided the opportunity to meet some of the animals in our care. This will be followed by dinner and a live auction at 8:00pm ending the night with dancing at 10:00pm.

How can I attend Zoobilee?
Limited seats are available. Individual tickets are $225 each ($200 for Zoo members). Please call (253) 404-3651 with questions about seats or the event.
What do I wear to Zoobilee?
Zoobilee is a Black Tie event. Tuxedos for men and cocktail, long dresses, or dressy evening separates for women. Please, no jeans, T-shirts, casual or active-wear. However, due to the Zoo's uneven footing, comfortable shoes are invited and recommended.

Can I bring my child?

No. Guests who attend Zoobilee must be at least 21 years of age.

Where do I park?

Zoo parking lots are reserved exclusively for Zoobilee guests and corporate sponsors. Limo drop-off will be directly in front of the main entry.

For safety's sake please designate an alcohol-free driver.

Is there a coat check?

A coat check will be available. Guests will be provided a claim ticket, which must be presented to reclaim all belongings.

Are there indoor accommodations?

Zoobilee is an outdoor event and although there are indoor areas available they are extremely limited in space. All guests will, however, be seated under the Main Tent for the dinner and live auction. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

What kind of food and beverages are available?

Guests will be able to experience wonderful appetizer selections prepared by some of the top restaurants in the area.

This year's featured restaurants will be:
ArtHouse Cafe, Brix 25o, Dirty Oscar's Annex, Smoke + Cedar Restaurant and Catering, from the creative team of the Pacific Grill.

Food and beverages will be available throughout the cocktail hour while guests interact with animals, bid on exciting silent auction items and take in the wonderful view from the plaza. Our guests will also enjoy a sit down dinner by X Group Restaurants, Catering & Brewery under the Main Tent during the live auction. Water and non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided. No outside food or beverages are permitted.

Of course! However, please respect the privacy of those around you.
