Zoo Snoozes
An evening of adventure at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Explore the secret world of the Zoo after dark, make crafts and dive into hands-on activities, all while learning more about your favorite Zoo animals.
Private Snoozes
Perfect for organized groups such as Scouts, church groups and schools. Sleep with the sharks and discover the watery world of ocean creatures in our exciting Sea Snooze. These programs are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, so please call for availability.
Time: 7:00 pm Friday - 9:00 am Saturday
Ages: 5 to 18 with adults
Fees: Group of 12 - 19 participating youth, $45 per child
Group of 20+ participating youth, $35 per child
One adult free with every 5 children.One adult per five children must be present.
$12 per extra adult
Program Deposit & Fees: Reservations are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. Programs are reserved only when a $160 deposit is received. Each group must pay for a minimum of 12 participants. The full program balance is due 14 days before the date of the program.
Public Snoozes - special snoozes designed just for families with children - have fun and meet new friends. These programs are booked on a first-come, first served basis, so please call for availability.
Time: 7:00 pm Friday - 9:00 am Saturday
Ages: 5 to 12 with family
Fees: $60 for 1 adult and 1 child ($50 for Zoo Society members)
$12 for each additional family member

2013 Public Snoozes
Spring Sanctuary Snooze April 12-13
A special snooze to celebrate spring - sleep in the Asia Dayroom with some swinging guests, participate in an animal egg hunt and construct a special springtime snack! Maximum of 20 participants.
Snoozin' on the Sound September 13-14
Bring the tent and camping gear along for a wild night at the zoo! Learn how to set up the perfect campsite, play special camp games and enjoy a fabulous night under the stars at the zoo. Maximum of 20 participants.
Boo Snooze October 18-19
Spooky animal close encounters, nighttime stories and a special treasure hunt are guaranteed to put the howl in Halloween this year. Maximum of 20 participants.
