SUMATRAN TIGERS: Jaya and her two newborn cubs
Jaya, our female Sumatran tiger, is now caring for her litter of two cubs that were born on May 25.
They made their public debut in the Asian Forest Sanctuary on Friday, July 23 and will be in their exhibit every day. But they still need their nap times, so they won't be out all day long. Check back daily for estimated viewing times.
More than 4,500 of you helped us name the cubs, and the winners are Bima and Mali. Bima (the male) means brave, and Mali (the female) means flower.
Learn more about their names and why they fit them so well.
