The age-old question takes on a whole new meaning here at the zoo.  Find out what our animals eat, and learn how to tell the difference between herbivores and carnivores based on clues from the animals themselves.  

Comic Creatures

How batty is Batman?  Is Catwoman really that bad?  In this adventure, you'll meet some of the coolest creature-based characters of comics, film and mythology.  You'll discover their special powers and create your very own heroic or villainous super creature.  

Build Your Own Zoo
*July 12-16, 9 am - 12:30 pm  FULL - Taking Wait List
It's an exciting time around the zoo!  Inspect the work of real construction crews and survey the layout of the zoo, then build your own animal exhibit models.  Includes animal close encounters and behind-the-scenes surprises!  

Animal Survivors
*July 12-16, 1- 4:30 pm  Session Full - Taking Wait List
Spend a week exploring the many ways animals survive.  Learn what people are doing to help save animal species and participate in team challenges to become a Zoo Survivor!  

Budding Biologists
*July 26 -30, 9 am - 12:30 pm
If you headed north from California, you might end up in Montana instead of Washington!  Learn the tricks of the trade that biologists must use in the field.  We'll head out into the park for some real field discovery in this program.
