Go ape in this camp highlighting the Asian Forest Sanctuary!  Explore the world of apes, tigers and elephants as you discover what it takes to swing like a gibbon and survive as a siamang.

 

Common Senses

June 16-18, 9 am - 12 pm

Sharks have an excellent sense of smell, bats are definitely not blind and butterflies taste with their feet!  Meet cool animals and discover how your senses stack up to the very best of the animal world.

For the child who loves to build things and just has to be part of the action!  In this adventure we observe all the new exhibits and then use this creative inspiration to build our very own zoo models.

 

Creature Feature

Discover all kinds of animals and the features that help them survive.  Get inspiration from up-close animal encounters and design your own animal creatures!

 

Wild Wolves & Big Bears

Learn why wolves howl and bears growl in the beastly prowl!  How wild is a wolf and how big is a bear, come along and see how they compare.

 

From Feathers to Flippers

Discover how our Rocky Shores animals survive life in the Icy Sea.  Watch our penguins, puffins, harbor seals and walruses move through the water and find their tasty treats!
