We'll bring the Zoo to you!

ce-circle 1 (2)The Zoo's outreach team travels all over Pierce County and surrounding areas. We would love to introduce you to some of our Animal Ambassadors! We'll travel to schools, retirement homes, community centers, libraries and more.

Animal Encounters include an up close and personal experience with 2 or 3 of our Animal Ambassadors (animals listed below). Depending on the number of animals requested, an encounter can engage participants for 30-45 minutes. We can accommodate groups of up to 30 participants ages 4 and up.

If you would like a more structured program, you can request one of our Wildlife Lessons (please choose from the chart below). These programs include fun animal information, an encounter with one live animal, and an opportunity for participants to examine animal biofacts such as skulls and pelts. Wildlife Lessons last between 45 and 60 minutes. Browse our Wildlife Lesson descriptions.
