Meet Mohan!

Visit the Asian Forest Sanctuary to look for Mohan, a thirteen-year-old Sumatran tiger.

Mohan came to Tacoma through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Species Survival Plan (SSP) program, meant to protect the genetic diversity of tigers in zoo-based populations.

Plans call for him to be paired with Sumatran tiger Kali through artificial insemination.

In addition to Mohan and Kali, the Zoo is home to three other Sumatran tigers: Dumai, Dari, and Kirana.
