Contribute to the Annual FundAnnual giving donations fund special projects focused on the Zoo's animal care, education and conservation missions, as well as support the operating costs of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. We encourage you to give to projects that excite your passion for the Zoo & Aquarium and the Annual Giving Program provides the opportunity to support the following initiatives:
Animal Care: Help maintain the standards of care necessary for an accredited facility to participate in endangered species programs such as our work with Clouded leopards, Sumatran tigers, and Red wolves.
Education: Provide low-income school field trip scholarships and support the operations of the Marine Discovery Center and other school-based programs to improve science education in Tacoma.
Conservation: Help protect endangered species in their native habitats and to involve Zoo staff in a variety of local and international conservation education efforts.
