Big Cats, Big Party

This Valentine's weekend, fall in love with tigers all over again at the Big Cats, Big Party celebration.  

All three of the zoo's tigers, Bali, Java and Jaya, will be on exhibit Saturday and Sunday during special keeper talks, and their home in the Asian Forest Sanctuary will be bubbling with fun and activities all weekend long.  

The tigers will receive special treats called enrichment throughout the weekend. Their keepers will give them items like tiger-sized chew bones to devour and tiger-tough toys to enjoy.

Big Cats, Big Party lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days and is appropriate for all ages. Festivities are free with zoo admission.

Activities:

• Spot the Stripes!: How well do you know wild cats? They can be hard to "spot."
• Tiger Translator: We'll play different sounds tigers make and you try to tell us what they mean!
• Where in the world?: Did you know that there are six different subspecies of tiger? Help us identify them.
