Birthday Party Information

Contact Reservations for more information or to book at birthday party. Two weeks’ notice is required.

The party package fee is $250. To reserve the party date/time, a non-refundable deposit of $75 is due at booking. The deposit is applied towards the package fee and the balance is due two weeks before the party date. Credit card and personal checks are accepted.

Party times:

Access to room is allowed 15 minutes before the party start time. Please end party promptly at the end time; party times are not extended for late party guests. Additional party time may be allowed at $25 per additional half hour based on availability.

Zoo admission

Zoo admission (or membership) is required for all party guests (kids, parents, siblings, etc). Party guests may use their Zoo membership for entrance to the Zoo; additional tickets are not needed for guests using Zoo membership.

15 zoo tickets are included in the package price; tickets are good for kids or adults.

Additional tickets may be purchased for a discounted rate of $9.50 for adults (ages 13+) and $6.00 for kids (ages 3-12); Children ages 2 and under are free. Rates include a 5% admission tax. Contact reserve@pdza.org for assistance with ticketing.

Carousel party room & decorating

The party room is a private room located inside the carousel building. One side of that room has a colorful wall mural depicting fantasy sea life; on the opposite side are windows and glass doors overlooking the carousel. The party room is set with five 6ft. long (rectangular) tables and 24 chairs.

Please do not tape or tack on party room walls, windows and sills; table decorations work best! Please remove all decorations promptly at the end of the party. Please refrain from bringing balloons, Styrofoam products, straws, glitter or confetti into the Zoo and party rooms. Piñatas are prohibited.

Please supply your own paper products, table covers, and disposable ware and cake cutter. Please remove all decorations promptly at end of party.

Carousel rides

Party guests may have unlimited rides on the carousel during party time only. All party guest riders are asked to exit at end of each ride and get in line to ride again, this gives everyone an opportunity to ride their favorite animals! The carousel building and rides are open to all Zoo visitors; the party room is private.
